Las Vegas - 5 August 2010

Our night in Las Vegas was great. We FINALLY got a hotel room with a Strip view and those of you who know the drama with the hotel rooms from our wedding will understand this comment.

We also revisited our favourite restaurant, Aquanox, where we had our wedding reception dinner. Once again the food didn't disappoint with Daniel and I making our way through a dish called the seafood plateau (oyster shooters, prawns, lobster tail, mussels and crab legs) and the best banana split we have ever tasted, it was delicious!

Hong Kong

Our 10 days in Hong Kong was great holiday. It was full of sights, sounds, smells and tastes which we had never experienced before and some of them we never wish to again. Hong Kong is a fantastic city to visit, the people are friendly and there is so much to see and do.

Adelaide Party

In Adelaide on 19 December 2009 we had a party that saw Daniel and I renew our wedding vowles and me turn 30!

It was a great night, made even more special by a visit by the King himself.

Tour of California 2009

What better way to spend a lovely Californian afternoon than watching a bunch of guys blur past us on bikes that were lighter than our backpacks.

The tour of California was the first bike race Daneil and I had watched live and we definitely enjoyed it and will be back next year.

There were two main highlights of the day. The first was seeing Lance Armstrong ride, it could be the first and last time we ever get to see such an amazing athlete in person...even if he did go by ver fast! The second was seeing the inaugural Australian racing team, V Australia, ride in the race and getting to chat to some of the team afterwards. Aussies as such friendly folks.
