What better way to spend a lovely Californian afternoon than watching a bunch of guys blur past us on bikes that were lighter than our backpacks.The tour of California was the first bike race Daneil and I had watched live and we definitely enjoyed it and will be back next year.
There were two main highlights of the day. The first was seeing Lance Armstrong ride, it could be the first and last time we ever get to see such an amazing athlete in person...even if he did go by ver fast! The second was seeing the inaugural Australian racing team, V Australia, ride in the race and getting to chat to some of the team afterwards. Aussies as such friendly folks.
